after two days of rest and recovery, i get a chance to gather my thoughts and recap on the weekend!  the past 4 months have been packed full of consistent work, some tedious and some interesting, all in preparation for the show we had this weekend with pat buckley moss. and after many weeks of overtime and teamwork, we pulled it off!

i admit, i was a little terrified as to what we should expect this weekend.  over the past 9 months we’ve been working closely with jon thames from thames gallery in frederick (which permanently closed it’s doors last year.)  before closing the gallery, jon was pat’s exclusive dealer in the area and he’s been essential in our getting the moss contract and helping out with the show.  he even offered to help us out over the weekend (which we gratefully accepted!)  stories of thousands of people coming through the doors, lined up for blocks outside the gallery, not having enough staff and more worries were swirling terrifyingly around our tired brains by the time friday came around.  it ended up being a huge success!  something that a small business in this economic time could really use.  not to mention that pat and her daughter are really fabulous ladies.  we had such a great time spending time with them and hope that when we choose to do another show we’ll have a little more down-time to enjoy the experience with them more thoroughly.

still feeling too tired to write anything more detailed, my brain is a bit fried.  but now…it’s time to play catch up in the real world again!
